Although we had had two other previous showings (at the Hennepin County Govt. Ctr. and the UMN Lavender Graduation) , the reception at the Spirit of the Lakes Church was the first exhibit in which all of the boards were displayed. Participants were invited to a potluck dinner and a performance by the TransVoice Chorus. Several participants shared their stories and the thoughts behind their art. It was a wonderful gathering. More than a few of us teared up hearing and reading what others had to share.
